India and Durban’s winter affair was my last wedding of 2016. It was the perfect way to wrap up the year. December weddings are always special for me. Christmas is one of my favorite times of year and photographing a wedding only adds to the happiness and joy of the season.
December couples all have at least one thing in common…they’re adventurous! December in Utah means you never quite know what the weather will be…sunny, stormy, cold, pleasant…I’ve photographed it all in December! My couples and their families plan for every contingency and often use the mantra “Just go with it!”. India and Durban experienced wind, a bit of snow, and sun within an hours time providing the perfect conditions for snuggling and smiling. These two were troopers and didn’t complain once when I asked them to get closer to each other (to keep warm of course).
Pro tip: India rocked red lips all day! I know many brides worry about getting lipstick on their family, friends, and new husband. The trick…Lipsense! India’s red lips stayed put all day without the color rubbing off, going where it wasn’t wanted, or needing to reapply. It’s basically magic and who couldn’t use more magic on your wedding day.
