At the end of 2013 I was contacted by a MUA friend of mine. She asked if I would like to be involved with a few shoots she was dreaming up. I said yes and when Rachel sent over her inspiration boards I knew this would be one of the funnest projects I would work on. What started as a couple of shoots has turned into a personal project. There is no theme and no cohesion. It’s more about shooting for fun and stretching my skills as a photographer.
I will be sharing these shoots throughout the year but today I am sharing the first. The idea was to shoot a bride in a beautiful winteresque landscape. We weren’t looking for 6+ feet of snow and ice. Showcasing the beauty in barren trees, shrubs, and fields was the perfect juxtaposition for a beautiful, young bride.
My personal goal was to give hope to all the winter brides. Winter weddings can beautiful with or without snow.
