Most of the time I am shooting couples in love. It is wonderful! I loved the change of pace photographing Katie in the dress that makes her feel most beautiful. While I love black tie sessions and will continue to proclaim their advantages, black tie sessions are not for everyone. Bridal sessions however are the perfect trial run for your wedding day.
Having pictures of your hair and make up help you to see if there are any changes you would like to make for your wedding day. Sometimes you need to tweak small things like your lip or eye color or wearing your hair up or down. Other times the tweaking is a bit larger, such as laying off the self tanner/tanning bed.
Often times the only time a bride has worn her dress prior to the wedding is when she is standing quite literally on a pedestal. Moving, sitting, and standing in a real world situation before your wedding day only helps to give you confidence you can do those things on your wedding day. Bridal sessions offer the flexibility to make changes so your wedding day is as stress free as possible.
Katie’s hair, make up, and dress were beautiful and perfect for her vintage inspired wedding. We can’t wait to share the images from the wedding day.
