At the end of September I got to work with an amazing team in bringing a vision to life. I was in Gateway Bridal & Prom for something else entirely when I saw a gown. I immediately had visions of Alice (Alice in Wonderland) getting married after coming home and what that might look like. I called my good friend and wedding and event coordinator Leslie and pitched my idea. Within two weeks we had dreamed up a world where not one but two Alice’s existed.
Today I’m sharing part one with you. The sweet Alice. The Alice that came home to England and grew up. This is Alice in all her sweet innocence. We focused on soft colors and drew inspiration from English teas and on the wonderful woods we have in our own backyard. This is a look any bride could pull off for her wedding day. Keeping make up and hair natural gave us the wide-eyed innocence we associate with Alice and give’s any bride a fresh face and youthful glow.
Stay tuned for part two later this week to see how we turned sweet Alice into someone with an edge.
